IAG Masterclass: Ink Painting with Zoe Porter

Experiment with inks to create your own concertina artist book with Zoe Porter!

Guided by artist Zoe Porter, you will explore a range of drawing techniques using inks to create your own concertina artist book. Your book could feature a narrative that blends both abstract mark-making and figurative work - whatever you are inspired to create!

Participants will leave the workshop with a resolved concertina book featuring a series of experimental drawing approaches using ink including fine line, wet into wet and wet on dry applications. Participants will develop a series of figurative/abstract drawings that connect across the book, developing a unique and playful approach to composition and imagery.

What to wear: Please wear closed-in shoes and workshop-friendly clothing.

What to bring: Lunch, a water bottle, and an apron. 

Materials: All Materials are provided including inks, brushes, metal nibs and paper concertina books.

The workshop will include a 30 minute lunch break to bring or grab a meal and socialise with the other attendees.
