Manikin Making Workshop

The Manikin Making Workshop is an arts and craft workshop to highlight the importance of representation in society.

The Manikin Making Workshop is for all ages, genders and cultural backgrounds to participate. The outcome of the workshop is for all participants to embrace themselves through the design of their manikin or doll.

Each participant will receive a 30cm wooden manikin, possum fur and emu feathers on arrival. Paint and other materials are also provided to design your very own manikin or doll to take home.

Seeing positive representations of ourselves in society boosts confidence, pride for our individual self as well as pride for our cultural backgrounds.
